Often, psychologists and therapists embark on the journey of private practice with the goal of finding more balance, safety, and independence in their work. However, you can soon find yourself struggling against a stream of challenges that leave you feeling burnt out, overwhelmed, and disillusioned.
Our 10-month psychology practice accelerator programme shows you a different way to grow.
Rather than telling you to 'just learn more about how business works,' we challenge the traditional private practice paradigm itself. No more endless selling time for money.
Many existing business models promote hustle culture, worker and customer exploitation, and disregard well-being and sustainability. Even public sector roles or non-profit businesses can end up operating this way!
It makes sense that you end up feeling trapped by these time-for-money models in your own private practice, especially when you're told that it's 'best practice.'
The Psychology Practice Accelerator is designed to help you break out of conventional norms of filling your diary with work that drains you, harness your creativity to diversify income streams, and reach more clients in ways that expand profits.
We invite you to join us in breaking free from the limitations of a traditional private practice, and instead, create a thriving, diversified business that allows you to reconnect with your wholeness and unleash your creativity.
This is how The Psychology Practice Accelerator takes you from overwhelm and disillusionment to a thriving, diversified practice:
Real transformation in your practice
Dr Emma Offord
"I don't think I would have got to where I did in such a short amount of time without the guidance of TPPA. I also found invaluable the network of like-minded psychologists, who were all so innovative and able to validate and support me."
You don't need to go through this process alone anymore.
We will hold your hand every step of the way.
Powerful group mastermind experiences
We meet once a month online in small groups via Zoom to work on your key questions or topics so that you get the support and accountability you need to grow your psychology practice.
As part of the programme you will receive a quarterly one-to-one strategy coaching session with Wendy Kendall via Zoom to keep you right on track.
Quarterly planning sessions
Every quarter you will come to a quarterly planning workshop where you'll use our Practice Growth Planning System to keep you focused on the key actions to move you forward without becoming overwhelmed and burned out.
'Do It Together' workshops
Each month, we will work together to implement the TPPA curriculum. Through these regular implementation sessions, you will get focus, accountability and feedback to keep moving ahead.
You can't help but make progress!

Want to discuss joining the next cohort of The Psychology Practice Accelerator?
"Hi, I'm Wendy Kendall!
I will be your Principal Coach on The Psychology Practice Accelerator.
Like many mental health professionals, I once saw traditional private practice as a path to more freedom, flexibility, and autonomy within my personal and professional life. But along the way, I came to see how this extractive, exploitive system failed providers like myself and the people entrusted with their care.
Disillusioned, isolated, and burned out, I began to challenge myself to rethink what it meant to be a successful individual practitioner. I set out to reclaim the exiled parts of myself and cultivate a safe place to flourish for myself and my clients.
Amid this profound shift in my own way of being and working, I saw a critical need to empower other providers to bring more of their authentic selves to their work.
And thus, in late 2018, The Psychology Practices Accelerator was born.
We have now helped dozens of psychologists transform their private practices into diversified businesses that empower them to thrive."
